Follow these guidelines to prevent wax runs and protect your surfaces:

• Eliminate Drafts: Paraffin wax burns dripless only in calm air. Air movement from fans, open windows, or AC vents tilts the flame, breaking the outer wax wall and causing wax to run down the stick.
• Trim Wick before Lighting: Keep the cotton wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before lighting to maintain a small, steady flame.
• Store Flat Below 70°F: Keep unused tapers flat in a cool room below 70°F (21°C) to prevent softening or leaning before use.
